IQ Bildungs- und Integrationsbegleitung –Fokus Gesundheits-, Sozial- und Bildungsberufe

This project supports immigrants in training, recognition and integration into health, social and educational professions.

The aim is to implement needs-based individual educational and integration support in Thuringia in order to support immigrant skilled workers in recognizing the professional qualifications acquired abroad and integrating them into permanent employment subject to social insurance contributions in the German labor market – especially in health, social and educational professions. To reduce barriers to access and integration and at the same time counteract the shortage of skilled workers, especially in highly endangered areas such as health and social services.

For this purpose, as part of the project, the existing problems that prevent good integration are identified and individually eliminated through targeted coaching. Regardless of professional affiliation, placement barriers in the application and interview process are part of coaching. The support is provided from a technical and linguistic perspective and includes the imparting of system knowledge and cultural background knowledge.

In order to make the offer of educational and integration support accessible beyond Central Thuringia, various offer modules such as self-study units, individual coaching, group offers on selected (subject) topics are planned at the Erfurt location but also at cooperating JC/AA or other educational providers. Virtual components, blended learning and the use of video chat are also planned.
