The aim is to provide participants with all the prerequisites for employment as an educational specialist. The IQ “Qualification for nursery school teachers and educational specialists” is recognised by the Thuringian State Administration Office (TLVwA) as an adaptation course for nursery school teachers.

• Identification of participants’ individual language problems
• Address and, if possible, eliminate the identified linguistic and phonetic problems through targeted training.
• Small talk and patient communication
• Handover discussions and team discussions
• If necessary, recording dictation and dictating doctor’s letters or patient reports
• Phonetic training to improve pronunciation and communication with patients, relatives and the team

Pave the way for people to work as professional language and integration mediators

The aim is toachieve the ability to connect to regular systems,such as taking up dual training or catching up on a school-leaving qualification, e.g. as part of a vocational preparation year (BVJ) or in vocational preparation training measures (BvB) offered by the Employment Agency. The programme also prepares students for obtaining an equivalent secondary school leaving certificate.
