International service office for the health and social economy in Thuringia (ISGT)

We are the international service office for the health and social economy in Thuringia and offer people with nursing training or other qualifications the opportunity to work in the health and social sector in Germany as part of our subsidised project. We are also looking for young people who would like to start an apprenticeship in the health and social care sector in our federal state of Thuringia.

Are you a skilled worker who would like to work in Thuringia? Or would you like to start your training here? Please feel free to contact us!

Are you a company or institution and interested in co-operating with us? We look forward to exchanging ideas with you!

Our project stands for the fair and reliable placement of skilled workers and trainees from abroad. The focus of our work is on the Philippines, Vietnam and Serbia. In Thuringia, we are currently cooperating with a social welfare organisation that operates a large number of care facilities for the elderly and a clinic, among others, and would like to provide the incoming skilled workers with stable and socially acceptable jobs. We are not a temporary employment agency and do not earn any money from the placement.

Our tasks include providing information to people interested in working and living in Germany, as well as to employers. This includes ensuring that all parties involved are informed transparently about the entire process. We also organise the matching of interested individuals with future employers and provide support in preparing for departure and starting work.

Thanks to the close cooperation with other projects at our company and in our network, skilled workers/trainees and employers receive comprehensive support from the first step of expressing interest, through preparation, to arrival and settling in both inside and outside the company in Thuringia.

Here you can find the project description in German and English: Project presentation (pdf)

Running time: 01.01.2023 – 31.12.2025

Supported by the Free State of Thuringia with funds from the European Social Fund Plus.
