Wege in die Pflege: Qualifizierung für Geflüchtete

Project goal:
People should be enthusiastic about working in nursing and care professions in Germany and should be trained with this initial qualification to become a care, service and nursing assistant in accordance with Sections 43b, 45a, 53c SGB area is possible.

Who do we support?
We support immigrants who want to work in the nursing sector in Germany.
This offer is free of charge, and travel costs can also be covered if necessary.

How is the qualification structured?
The 9-month qualification course includes

  • imparting theoretical and practical specialist knowledge
  • the subject-related German lessons
  • a 25-day internship in a nursing facility
  • social-educational support (during the course and during labor market integration)

The participants are then supported in looking for a job or a training position (depending on the requirements) as a state-certified nursing assistant or state-certified nursing specialist.

What are the participation requirements?

  • Interested in working and training as a nurse in Germany
  • Knowledge of German at level A2/B1
  • a minimum two-week orientation internship in nursing or care
  • a school leaving certificate is not necessary
  • Place of residence in Thuringia
