IQ KOM.healthy

Skills development for career entry into the healthcare industry

KOM.gesund is a project for immigrants who already work or would like to work in the healthcare sector. The programme is aimed at people with a foreign vocational or university degree or with professional experience, for example in nursing or other healthcare professions.

In the project, participants learn how the German healthcare system works. They improve their technical knowledge and practise important skills for everyday working life. These include communication, teamwork, patient safety, digital applications, job application training and first aid.

The courses are divided into individual modules and can be adapted to the needs of the participants. In addition, there is advising, individual coaching, practical experience, and support with the recognition of foreign qualifications.

KOM.gesund helps people find good jobs in the healthcare sector and establish long-term careers. At the same time, the project supports efforts to secure skilled workers in the healthcare sector in Thuringia.

You can also find the offer on the website of the Federal Employment Agency.
