Thuringian specialist office for refugees in work and training

The Thuringian Office for Refugees in Work and Training advises, trains and networks projects in Thuringia that support refugees with a residence permit or toleration to integrate into the labor market. In particular, it offers the support structure for the projects of the state program “Work for Thuringia” (LAT), the so-called LAT projects.

Tasks and achievements:

  • Information, advice and training for project sponsors on the subject of access to training and the labor market
  • Networking and practical exchange between project sponsors
  • Preparation of project-relevant technical and methodological knowledge
  • Documentation of successful factors in placing the target group in work and training

Duration: January 1st, 2024 – December 31st, 2025

LAT projects

Since October 2015, the state program “Work for Thuringia” (LAT) has been funding projects throughout Thuringia that accompany and support refugees in their professional integration. The Thuringian Office for Refugees in Work and Training is in regular contact with the project sponsors. Further information about the LAT projects, good examples from project work and general conditions for labor market integration in Thuringia can be found on the LAT projects website .

Since July 1, 2022, recognized refugees in Thuringia have had access to the so-called integration and participation projects in the ESF plus Thuringia integration guidelines. The migration support project provides technical support.
